Tanning???

i got my nails done about 2 weeks ago and i have noticed that the tips and the clear part are turning yellow. is that from tanning?

i do smoke but they have never changed before. they dont hurt like an infection or anything.
Tanning???
Actually, yes. I used to work at a tanning salon. The UV light makes them turn yellowish. You can cover them with a washcloth when you tan, or if you want to buy those one things that are like latex gloves, but they're only for your finger. Those have worked. I don't think it sould make your tan look weird like white hands tan everywhere else, but not sure.
Tanning???
I dont think you should really worry about it too much...

If your nails constantly have nail pollish on them, it can turn your nails yellow. This wont go away unless you stop painting your nails, clear coating them is fine.
Reply:I had that happen too, im pretty sure it was from smokin. Did u put any clear polish on them? Cause that will do it too. I dont think its from tanning
Reply:Ya tanning turns them yellow, probably becuase your not getting pink and whites or "Solar nails" ask for that next time. It isnt from smoking, trust me.
Reply:its from smoking and from lack of sun. if ur nails are constantly coverd by fake nails or painted over ur nails arnt getting proper vitiemin D and they turn yellow, but even tho u have been smoking for awhile and they didnt change before dosent mean they wont ever, because they do to every smoker.
