I have pretty fair skin. I've done the tanning bed thing and it takes forever to tan, my legs never tan anyways, and I know it's very unhealthy. I've used the fake tan cream before and it's always orange, and I get lines. I've seen those new tanning lotions that gradually tan your skin, supposedly without the orange look or lines. I also want something that I can use on my face to give me an even all over color. Nobody wants a tan body with a pale face. Anyone have anything they use and love. Summer's coming and I'm ready to get out the shorts. I'm tired of my legs being so pale I glow in the dark.
What's the best self tanning cream or lotion?
I really like Jergen's self tanner. It is a gradual tanner. They have the lotion for your face and body. I know a lady with fair skin (she has red hair and blue eyes) and when she uses the Jergen's lotion, I can tell a difference with in a few days. I have tried many different self tanners and this one by far is the best. : )

Reply:try jergens natural glow, banana boat sundial %26amp; l`oreal sublime glow...my friend was white as a ghost, now she started using these 3 products %26amp; she is super dark, without the fake orange color...plus, u can buy them at any cvs, walmart, etc...
Reply:I have red hair and fair skin. I use the Loreal brand - it works perfect. No streaks. I use a pair of latex gloves when I apply it - that way you don't have to worry about your hands turning color. It works great - you can buy a box of 50 of them at the pharmacy for around $5.00.
Reply:Oh cool I glow in the dark too鈽?br>
I like the Dove tan lotion in medium
Reply:jergens.
Reply:clinique. they may be more than the drugstore products but they are all under $20 and they will actually bronze your skin rather than orange it:) good luck!:)
Reply:Glow Fusion Natural Protein Tan. You can get it at Sephora, Ulta, and some Victoria Secret Beauty stores for $58. It's the best I've tried yet, and I have VERY pale skin. I used the light formula and it did not streak at all. It is an alcohol like spray that dries instantly so you don't have to stand around naked for 20 minutes! I'm always skeptical, too, about putting lotions on my face for fear of breaking out, but this basically just feels like water on your face and I didn't break out at all. I didn't have any streaks at all and it lasts about 5-7 days. They sell another product called Glow Fusion Tan Emulsion for $40 and it really helps to extend your tan. It's like an after sun lotion to make your tan last longer. I still haven't figured out how it works but it does. With both of these your tan will last about 10 days without any other applications. I know this is expensive but it's definitely the best and both bottles so far have lasted about 8 or 9 applications and I still have enough for probably 2 more. Of all the self tanners I've tried, THIS ONE IS DEFINITELY THE BEST!!!
Reply:Well I have never used any other product before. I am fair skinned too...I burn very easy...and I never have tan legs either. I was so excited when I first started using Leg Apeel from BeautiControl. I had tan legs!
It is 3-step system, exfoliating creme you apply for overnight, a scrub to use in the shower/bath to exfoliate your dead skin off...use those two once a week. Then the final step is the self-tanner. Not orange at all...after the first application, I had a nice bronze glow. You can apply once ever 24 hours until desired tan is achieved and then once you get the look you want, you reapply every 5 days or so to maintain.
This product system can be used on the whole body...but they do have a specific creme for the face that's not as deep in coloring....called sunlogics.
They guarantee their products so it's risk free to try...and I know if you order before the end of the month you get a discount since the product is new.
Good Luck!
Reply:Use Johnsons holiday skin...it builds up a natural tan so you dont look orange and you get no streaks. You can also get it for your face - boots and superdrug do both at a reasonable price.
