Regular tanning lotions and oils vs. Tanning bed lotions?

I'm trying to find out if I can use regular tanning lotions or oils when using a tanning bed or do I have to use the tanning bed lotions that the salons sell?

I own a tanning a salon and there are a few reasons why you need to buy professional lotions. Indoor lotions are designed to be easily cleaned off the acrylic without leaving residue. It can be really difficult to remove non-professional lotions. Store-bought lotions may also contain ingredients that can cause the expensive acrylics to crack and weaken. Oils are really bad for this!

Another reason to use professional lotions is that they contain superior ingredients that are designed to be used indoors. If you are spending the money on your sessions, you should definitely make the most of your money with a good lotion. Most salon staff are trained on how to maximize the benefits of tanning and how to choose the proper lotion for each individual.

You don't have to spend a fortune on good lotions. There are some really nice ones in the $25 range! Look into Caribbean Gold- Sex Kitten and Bottoms Up, Supre- Cocoa Beach and Australian Gold- Accelerator and Cheeky Brown

You need to buy the tanning bed lotions at the salons, because they're closely regulated by the FDA, there SPF's, there products and everything. If you use a store baught tanning bed lotion, you're going to fry. Becareful, after all, it is your only set of skin! =)
