Ok...tips on tanning?
I think you should just lay out in the sun.
Reply:The 1st answer is right. Cancer can be caused by tanning in a booth the same as in the sun. Try using a tanner in a bottle. or a bronzer.
Reply:this is for around my area..dont know about yours
but
naked
15 minutes
9 bucks
cancer....looking like your 80 when your 40
whatever looks right..personally no tan
only if you do it too much/get to dark
Reply:tanning tends to always look somewhat fake. The most I would go is once or twice a month, maybe once every two weeks, but even that is too much.
Ask the people there, they'll know the specifics. But just remember, some of the risks (aside from skin cancer) include:
dark patches on skin
moles
red dots
wrinkles/dry skin
possible infections from the tanning bed
Dry using a self-tanner on your face, arms and legs. It actually looks just as good if you get the right brand (i like dove or loreal). Get the ones that are part tanner, part moisturizer, so they are not as strong and look natural. Good luck
Reply:I am very light skinned also. If you're really serious about tanning, you need to go to a tanning place and talk to them. Don't tan with a bikini because you'll get horrible tanlines. Start out around 5-6 minutes and work your way up. Start out by using a tan accelerator (lotion) don't use a bronzer at first because you'll burn. To build a base tan you should go 2-3 times a week. Make sure to use a lotion, especially during the winter months because your skin will become dry. Also, your hair will become lighter, if you want to prevent it, wrap it in a towel (most tanning places provide towels). Again, if you have any questions the tanning place should be able to help you out. Make sure to wear protective goggles, yes, they will give you racoon eyes, makeup can help get rid of it, and it's better than losing your sight.
Reply:no, 15mins max for the bed, 10mins max for standup, depends on the quality of beds, risks are pretty much not worth it long term but dang i look good with color, you'll get to a certain point of tanning where you wont advance anymore which is when you'll have to start using bronzers to add color dye so to speak to your skin, the tanning CAN look fake when some ppl leave their arms at their sides all the time their armpits are white so as long as you somewhat tan naturally in the sun and rarely burn you'll look natural enough if you dont overdo it.
Reply:I do the mystic tan, or the spray tan. I simply wear a pair of tiny underwear i dont care about. I love it though, I never have issues with the color looking orange either. Typically its about twenty to thirty dollars a month. It also only takes about a minute.
