Tanning beds - pre lotion?

So, I go taning on tanning beds(yes, I know it's not best for my skin, let's put that aside now...)

so anyways, I already got my base color, I dont want to do sprays or anything but I know they got some lotion you can put before you lay on the bed to tan. what is that lotion? does is give a better more stronger tan? faster? do you buy them only at the tanning salon? are they good? I want something moire instanse so after another 2-3 sessions i'll be really tanned.

so if the girls(or guys) that tan know, please answer.

I don't look fake when I tan, because I don't turn orange or anything, and looks much better tanned, so for all those who say it's fake and bad blah blah save it. thank you.

Try Designer Skin products. They make a wide range of indoor tanning lotions...lotions with no bronzer, one bronzer, multiple bronzers, tingle and non tingle. A lotion with bronzers will really help speed your tan up. The bronzers in the tanning lotion really boost your color, and they will not make you look orangey at all.

My 2 faves in the Designer Skin line are Spellbound, which has 4 bronzers, and Black, which has 20x bronzers. They both have the silicone emulsion formula that makes your skin feel silky and soft after using it. I have just started tanning this year, so I started out with the Spellbound; it's working great for me so far. Once I have a little more base color going on, I'll start using the Black, because I'm not sure how well 20x bronzers would do on very fair skin like mine that hasn't gotten much of a tan quite yet.

I've never been near as dark with any brand I've tried. I'm really fair, and don't always tan so easy, but Designer Skin has done excellent for me.

You can buy the lotions at the tanning place, or you can buy them online. You can get some great deals on ebay, and many online stores such as lotionbarn.com, lotion4you.com, etc. Just search "discount tanning lotions" with yahoo/google/whatever, and you'll get a ton of results. I have found I can usually get my lotions 50% cheaper online than at the tanning salons.

Another good tip is to make sure you're keeping your skin moisturized well by using a moisturizer daily. Well-moisturized skin tans better and faster, and holds color longer.

I love to be tan! There is all kinds of lotions out there. You can get them cheaper online. There's Australian Gold, Califrona tan. I like California tan the best. Yes it does help. They have lotion that has bronzers in them that is like self tanner but not noticable. They work great!
