well i always wondered about those showers you go into and then in the next 6 seconds your tanned... does it really work? or does the tan look orange when you come out? because i have that problem a lot, i buy these tanning creams and it just comes out orange, would it turn better in the tanning showers?
Thanks.
Does tanning in a shower work?
The tanning beds are great, they are easy and fast and walla your tan. I do think you are buying the wrong brand of tanning lotions. Try Jergans Body Glow, its a self tanner and a moisturizer in one. I also really like "Clarins" self tanning gel. The color is just perfect, not just for me, but for the girls I recommend it to, when they come into to my boutique. You could find it at your local Sephora stores as well as Macy's and Nordstrom. I have tried a lot of different brands that just dint meet my standards as far as the color and smell go. Lancome and Estee Lauder brands are a waste of time and money. They almost always come out to orange. Try the ones I recommend first, before you give up tanning from a bottle. It's a lot cheaper.
Does tanning in a shower work?
probably not. any kind of 'instant tan' is always going to look semi-fake.
If you really want a tan, i'd recommend using a tanning salon. You're less likely to burn in a salon as opposed to going to the beach. Just make sure to wear sun screen.
Reply:You are talking about the Mystic tans. I love them! I used to manage a tanning salon and it was very popular. The color is not orange and it has no odor at all either. It looks most natural on white people skin.
If you do not like the color after you get it done just jump in a pool, the chlorine fades the color.
Reply:it's not a shower. just go out and lay out in the sun (GASP!) for a little bit every day. i did, and i have no skin cancer, and a great tan. use sunblock. you'll be fine.
Reply:as long as you exfoliate before you go and don't layer the stuff on you shouldn't turn out orange. I used it for a pageant and it turned out great.
