Tanning bed?

I am a guy and I just got a buzz cut so my head is pale. I wanted to tan up for the spring. I belong to a place called Planet Fitness. They have little tanning beds I lay in. I never done it before. Do you go in by yourself and just wear shirts and take your shirt off?





Is it ok to tan for guys or does it seem gay?

nah tanning is cool! they are awesome and its nice to have some colour in the dead of winter... you are suppose to go in there with nothing on... not even wearing boxers.. this way everything tans.. just make sure to wear the eye goggles to protect your eyes from the UV rays..





try tanning about 2 a week.... no its not gay to tan, lots of guys do

I have seen alot of guys at the tanning salon...





Personally I do like to go to tanning beds... but as a nurse I should not be telling you this, since exposure to UVA and UVA rays is a link to skin cancer.





My personal feelings are as long as you DONT BURN, and DONT GO EXCESSIVELY... it can be a good thing. Makes you feel better about yourself and helps to produce Vitamin D.





I remove all clothing, and so do many girls, because you wont get a tan line.





You can do whatever makes you comfortable... but if you wear a T shirt, just know that you will get a "farmer's tan"... the kind where the forearms are tan, but the shoulders and chest are white... looks kinda geeky!
Reply:There is NO SAFE tan!!! I would suggest you definatly NOT got to the tanning bed! Spray tans or do it yourself tans are the best way to go. Would you rather have a white, cute head or a big nasty scar from the melonoma that was cut out?


And not, it wouldnt be gay, these days the humble man can go get a wax, listen to britney spears and still be the man of the house. do what you wanna do, its your life honey.
