Can tanning in a tanning bed mess up my chances of getting pregnant?

im addicted to the tanning bed and i know im not supposed to tan while im pregnant but would it hurt to tan a couple of months before trying to get pregnant and im also taking prenatal vitamins

dont go on the sun beds while you are trying to conceive have a spray tan instead, if you want to take pre natal vitamins and get a tan thats fine but use barrier contraception while you boost your tan, would you ask the same question about cigarettes? you know its bad for the baby so avoid any heartache for the sake of vanity!

i went tanning a week before i ovulated n was fine...29 weeks preggo now... but you cant tan once your prego
Reply:I know a girl who tanned the entire time she was pregnant but she took a pillow to cover her belly. The baby was beautiful and is now about 17 years old.


Now though they have the mystic or airbrush tan so why not just do that instead for the time being
Reply:The biggest reason you shouldn't tan while pregnant is you are more likely to burn because of skin changes and you are more likely to suffer from heat stroke. Tanning before pregnancy would only do the same damage that would be done if you were tanning any other time.
