Burn from tanning bed.?

Ughh..so the last time i've been in a tanning bed is atleast a year. and I decided to go to a tanning bed once. i'm not a very tan person at all natually. i did 15 minutes (DUMB!!) and i put on like a tanning lotion and got pretty badly burned :/ my whole back side, especially **** and back is really red and just feel like a sunburn. How do I heal my burn quickly? it's also very uncomfortable. I have homecoming saturday so if i could resolve this before then that would be great. and yeah, this is the last time i'm going tanning!
Burn from tanning bed.?
Go to the doctor and ask for so SILVER SULFADIAZINE ointment. If you have one you can just call and ask for something that's even better. Or get your mom to call and ask for it. Get a large container of it because it is great of scrapes, kitchen burns, if you happen to burn yourself on the iron, carpet burns and all kinds of things.

I AM TELLING YOU NOW THIS STUFF WORKS!!! We keep it on hand all the time.
Burn from tanning bed.?
I had an awful sunburn this summer. I called my doctor it was so bad. She told me not to put aloe vera on it because the alcohol in it can actually dry out the skin. What she did recommend is to use hydrocortizone cream on it. That soothed it a lot. The other product I found that worked great was this after sun cream that Estee Lauder makes.
Reply:ya thats not going to go away by saturday

DO NOT use lotion--it will dry out your skin

use aloe vera, put it in the freezer--that helps

fyi- when you go to a tanning bed, you have to build a tan (atleast three times) if you want an instant tan, you shouldve done the sunless....
Reply:don't listen to others. get a fat aloe vera plant. cut the biggest pieces off and squeeze the gel out of it and have someone massage it in. it's cold feeling and good for you. it's been used forever. it will not dry you out or anything. the worst about it is its weird smell. but it's from nature and a cure for burns. avoid hot showers or bath soaking. it keeps the burnt skin moist and hurts more. take cool to semi hot showers and apply aloe after this. you'll be fine in a week full recovery
Reply:As many people have said Aloe Vera Gel is one of the best treatments. It is antibacterial and even hospitals use it for burn victims because it contains aloectin B which stimulates the immune system and therefore will help you to heal more quickly.

However other things that will help are:

~Aspirin: will help with the pain and inflammation.

~ Take a cool bath that you add half a cup of baking soda to.

~ Use calendula cream. Calendula is one of the most healing plants. It is an excellent antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agent.

~ Put vitamin E cream or oil on your burn. It often helps to heal and shorten the effects of the sunburn.

~Place black tea bags on the burn. Black tea has tannins in it which help to sooth sunburns.

Sunburns usually take about a week to heal. Although you will be tempted don't pick at it when you begin to peel. This can cause infection and will only look worse. Know that you are far from the only person that has gotten a sunburn and I am sure you will still look beautiful at Homecoming. But do take this as the lesson that you clearly have and do not use tanning beds anymore. They are so bad for your skin. You are still young. Protect your skin and your body and you will have a long, healthy, (and wrinkle free) life and years from now will be able to look back on this time and laugh and say "Oh how silly I was to go tanning right before homecoming!"

I hope you have a wonderful time Saturday and heal easily and quickly!
