Tanning?!?

My face won't tan and I've tried everything. I've used baby oil everyday.I won't tan and I won't sunburn either. The rest of my body tans easily. My face used to be tan until I started using Proactiv for my acne, which I know can bleach your skin, but it's been a really long time since I've used that stuff. Please no lectures on safety and give me some real tips please.
Tanning?!?
well... tanning lotion, but as u sed no i suggest tryin dunbeds, or when you are in the sun, use a coconut oil. This really works!!! my face never tans either, but i got Banana Boat Coconut tanning oil with aloe vera and carrot extracts. Its amazingly super! Its blends claim to leave skin silky smooth and deliciously dark... and it does! good luck x
Tanning?!?
tanning lotion.
Reply:the only thing i can think of is jergen's tanning lotion for the face. it works really well, i promise. don't use baby oil - that just makes your skin transluscent and more vulnerable to the sun's rays. and is being tan now worth having wrinkles later? sorry, but you're basically begging for a safety lecture here
Reply:When you are tanning have you removed all traces of make-up? It is harder to tan through make-up and some moisturizers.

Also, how do you wash your face and how often do you exfoliate? You may be tanning your face, but taking the tan away when you use a face cloth or exfoliating. The Proactiv shouldn't be effecting your able to tan on your face if you aren't using it anymore.

Are you tanning in the sun or a tanning bed? If you are indoor tanning you may want to bring your concerns to the salon staff. They may have a bed with a facial bulb that could help.

I would try to use a gentle facial cleanser without exfoliating. You may also want to try a facial self-tanner. (I'm sorry, I know you said no lotion info, but it could help.)

Good luck!
