Tanning???????

ok, how long are u suppose to wait b4 u take a shower after tanning? Also are you suppose to shave ur legs b4 u tan?

For the tanning bed tan - wait at the very least 4 hours before showering. I wouldn't shave after I tanned until the next day, but I have and I didn't really see a difference. You don't want to shave right before either, try a few hours before. Either way, it doesn't make a huge impact on your tan, just make sure to moisturize a lot! When you shower, don't use hot water. It robs your skin of the oils it needs to maintain the tan. Try the coolest water you can tolerate.

well it depends on if you are doing spray tan or tanning bed.....tanning beds it doesn't matter becuase the tan is on you until it fades from lack of sun...on the other hand spray tans recoommend that you shave before you spray because otherwise that will take some of the color off and therefore make the color fade faster
Reply:For a tanning bed, it doesn't matter when you shower and shave because it's just like getting a real tan, but I would do both before you tan so your pores are open and they will absorb more sunlight.





For a spray tan, I would also shave and shower before for the same reasons, and these could both make your tan fade sooner than it should. I would wait 12 hours before I shower after the spray tan, and wear loose clothes so the color doesn't rub off.
