how long does it take to get a decent tan? like how many times would i have to go to a tanning salon to get a visible tan? also would it help if i cover my tattoo with something it won't fade???

It really depends on your skin tone and type, also the tanning equipment used. Some people may get results in a few sessions, while others can take several sessions of tanning to get a base tan.

Reply:Honestly, I wouldn't recommend tanning beds. They damage your skin (trust me I know; my mother used tanning beds for YEARS and now she has age spots and "sun spots" that have aged her severly) Your best bet would be to try self tanning lotion or going to a spray tan salon. Self application is easy as long as you follow the instructions and have some free time.
Reply:I don't go to the tanning salons. But outside it takes me like 4 days. But I'm also 90% Irish so that might play a part in it. Lol. :)

time depends on your skin tone and how easily you tan so cannot determine, some see it in two sessions, others it takes seven to ten. Also depends on the tanning bed you use as they all have different SAFTEY measures as well as tanning effectiveness.
Most imprtant to know is that FAKE TANNING ALWAYS DAMAGES SKIN... so unless yo plan on five or less timews DO NOT DO IT...t he end results are mottled looking and irregulare and untimely aged skin forever
