Well My family and I took a vacation to the beach and while we were walking outside along the beach fo about 3 hours, I forgot to put sunscreen on and I forgot to where a jacket over me. I am a very pale person and I would like to keep my paleness. I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt with no hat. So I basically tanned my arms, legs, neck, and face. So my question is how can I make my tan fade without tanning ever again or buying self tanners? Or is this it for me????!!!!

I scrub my skin in the shower everynight.. even if i'm in the process of tanning (yes with lotion tanners too) i just get in the habbit of scrubbing- not sanding, just lightly scrubbing.. and it heps get rid of the top layers of skin that slowly would fade your tan away..
get a good scrub.. i use Aveeno- it helps brighten the skin too

Reply:It will fade on it's own. You're lucky you didn't get burnt to a crisp!! Have some patience, though. It'll take a while to fade away completely. :)
