I would like to go to a tanning salon and get a tan for the summer but Ive never done it before so I just have some questions...
How much does it cost for a walk-in?
How many "walk-ins" do you think it will take me to get a decent tan? (I tan pretty easy, but dont really burn)
How long does a tan from a salon usually last?
Is it possible to get locked in a tanning bed? (I know that probably sounds crazy, but I seen it in a movie once lol!)
A few questions about tanning salons...?
How much does it cost for a walk-in?
For a bed 5-10, for a booth(gives more even tan)8-12
How many "walk-ins" do you think it will take me to get a decent tan?
Id say about 7 if you go everyday but if your going every other day probablly at least 10
How long does a tan from a salon usually last?
Depends on how much you went but most likely about a week.
Is it possible to get locked in a tanning bed?
Haha=]
Final destination:P
I used to be soo scared too but once i went i realized that theres no locks in there.
And about the cancer thing...it is true so try and where a tanning lotion with spf...it gives you a really good tan but protects you from soo much UV rays
A few questions about tanning salons...?
.
Reply:1 word CANCER!!! maybe not right away but at about 50 u get skin cancer i wouldnt do it trust me my aunt died becuase of it i would jst go to da beach or wear makeup
Reply:How much does it cost for a walk-in? about eight dollars
How many "walk-ins" do you think it will take me to get a decent tan? (I tan pretty easy, but dont really burn) three or four, maybe five if it takes you longer to tan
How long does a tan from a salon usually last? it depends on your skin tone, if you get a base tan after about four sessions and completely stop going, it will only last a few days to a week
Is it possible to get locked in a tanning bed? (I know that probably sounds crazy, but I seen it in a movie once lol!) haha final destination! and no, there is no lock, only from the inside which is very easy to undo once you're in there.
Reply:DONT TAN! you wil get CANCER! seriously!!!! i have freinds who do it, they get "tanning spots" which are little white spots that can be CANCEROUS!!!
Reply:Don't go to a tanning bed they are so bad for you....
Try spray on instead it's quicker, instant and won't give you cancer.
Reply:lol...that scence in FINAL DESTINATION 3 was f'n scary
Reply:Cost depends on what part of the country you're in, but count on 5-10 dollars.
If you're planning on really getting a good tan though, you might as well get a short plan, which will save you money in the long run.
The tan lasts as long as one in the sun would, depends more on the person.
It's not possible to get locked in. They dont "lock" at all, so unless you have someone that really hates you and comes in and bungies it shut or something, you're safe.
Reply:Dont start because it is adcitive and it sends UV radiation into your skin which will fry you and it causes deadly skin cancer so i advise you stick to sunbathing because our o-zone layer blocks most UV radiation out. Hope you choose living healthy over looking orange and burnt.
Reply:I know this will sound like a worry ******** but only use it once and only fo a short period of time. My uncle was seriously ill from skin cancer from one of those things.
Reply:Stay out of the tanning salon! Be a beautiful pale porcelin figure, wear a hat outdoors! You will remain beautiful for a much longer time if you do. Besides it causes CANCER!
Reply:Find a place that has newer beds, and most will give you a HUGE break in price if you get a week or month at a time. I go to a place that charges 20 a session, or 25 for a week, (no-brainer there). You can't get locked in, but you do need to ALWAYS wear the eye protection they give you. Don't think that closing your eyes is enough. Also, if you are taking any antibiotics, you'll want to find out if they cause an allergic reaction to ultraviolet lights, (learned that the hard way). Basically you should be able to be summer tan in 4 sessions in a good bed. Good luck!
2. They should tell you because everyone is different, I'm the same with easy tan, and no burns. But they will tell you how long it will take to acheive the colour you want.
3. Couple weeks.
4. No, lol. They don't even close all the way, and there are timers. :] Plus, other people want to tan so I'm sure they'd come check on ya!! Lol.
Reply:you can not get locked into a bed or booth
depending on your skin and how good the bulbs are will take about 10 to 15 times ...you start off slow....if the bed is a 15 minute bed you start at about 7 minutes ( 15 would make you burn ) use a good indoor tanning lotion really helps and keep your skin moisturized ..flaky dry skin does not tan well and the bulbs will dry your skin out so use a good moisturizer
i would look at getting a small tanning package instead of paying for each tan when you go will save you money.....you would want to tan about three to four times aweek to get your tan going then after you have your base depending on your skin two times a week to keep it up......good luck and it does ruin your skin wrinkles wrinkles ...but does look good at the time
make sure the bulbs are new......the newer the better...just ask...and a clean place clean clean clean...cause really you are going to be laying in some one else's sweat puddles EWWW
Reply:A bit expensive and i think it is good to get a tanning lotion or cream in that way if don't like the result it is easy to change the colour that you like the best.
