Tanning bed?!?

Okay, I've never been to a tanning bed, I'm about to sign up and go, but there's a few thing's that I was wanting to know... I was wondering, do you have to turn over in a tanning bed after a while?, can you open your eyes? and what kind of tanning lotion do and can you use? Thanks so much guys!
Tanning bed?!?
I'm a vivid tanning bed user! Usually the amount of time you lay is 20 minutes, that is depending on your skin tone. In the beginning they may suggest just laying for 7-10 minutes until you receive a good baseline tan. Because believe me you can burn in those beds. When i first started going I laid for a week for 10 minutes then went up to 12 minutes then 20 minutes. With 20 minutes I turn over, but you dont have to the bulbs are under and over you. 5 minutes each side--left side (5), right side (5), back (5), and stomach (5). You are required to wear a pair of goggles while tanning, the bulbs can burn out your retina. Lotion is a personal preference. I started with a deep bronze and after I darkened up I use what they call "lotion with tingle". Bronzers are good for a dark tint and tinglers are meant to open up your capillary beds to allow for a deeper dark complexion--and believe me they work quick. Lotions tend to be expensive. It's not recommended to buy any lotions from walmart, kmart, places like that. The tanning salon where you will go will have a line of lotions for you to choose from. Just dont overdo it, dont go everyday because the tan looks so fake when you've done it too much. And yes it does age your skin.
Tanning bed?!?
No, you don't have to turn over. It is all encompassing you. You shouldn't open your eyes and they give you eye covers for them. You can buy the tanning lotion at the place, they will be happy to tell you which one is the best one for you. It gives you a good tan, just don't overdo it and go every day, if you go every day for weeks on end, you will become an orangish tint.
Reply:Don't do it! You'll wind up with all kinds of moles and growths and skin cancers in 20 years! Really bad for you!!
Reply:No you don't have to turn over. You have to wear protective goggles; don't open your eyes. You can buy special tanning lotion at the salon; find out what they have there and maybe you can find it cheaper on the internet.
Reply:honey all i can say is dont go tanning you are buetifull no matter what unless you want a tan like mine you can look at it on tv love ya *****
Reply:i have no idea i am naturally tan
Reply:You don't turn over because there are tanning-bulbs on the top and bottom of you (unless its...like...really cheap).

You shouldn't open your eyes.

Tanning lotion is preference, I"m sure they have samples. Let them tell you how each works differently; and you may choose based on their scent too.

* Caution * If it's your first time, you may want to limit time-spent in the bed to the low-end until you know what your skin tolerance/type is. Otherwise you can get a nice all-over burn.
Reply:Please don't, it's so unbelievable bad for your skin. If you could see the damage that just one tanning bed session can do to your skin in the long term, you would run a mile. Please just think carefully. HTH : )
