What's a good tanning lotion that will make me darker?

i need a really good tanning lotion that will make me darker, not oranger. i want one that i can put on and lay out in the sun for a few hours and see a difference. i know i'll have to lay out in the sun for more than one day, but i want as fast results as possible. i dont want anything fake looking or anything that can rub off or go away fast. i need something that i can buy over the counter at someplace like target. i need to know the name of the tanning lotion, where i can get it, and approxomitely how much it would cost. also, when ur tanning, do you put on sunscreen and then tanning lotion or tanning lotion and then sun screen. i've never really tanned before and i have fair skin.

Any suntan lotion with at least SPF of 15 that protects you against UVA and UVB will do. Make sure you reapply your lotion every hour. You want to get a nice tan and be darker, not to have skin cancer and wrinkles when you are still young at middle-age. By the way, UV exposure from tanning beds can be just as harmful to the skin as outdoor exposure.
