Tanning...?

Im extremly pale and i do not tan easily. Whats the best way to get a tan outside?
Tanning...?
Well a lot of people have trouble actually understanding SPF. it is the sun protection factor and it works like this: say after 10 minutes in the sun with no sunscreen on you turn pinkish, from sun exposure. That means if you wore SPF 30 you would be protected for 300 minutes. You mulitply those times together to understand how long you can be in the sun. Sunscreen really only protects against the rays that make you burn so if you used sunscreen the right way, you might even get a nice little tan from the sun, without getting burned. Happy tanning buddy!!!
Tanning...?
I'm really pale and I burn very easily. Put on some sunscreen with a lot of SPF. Use at least SPF 30 and also but some on your face and feet. Go to Walmart or somewhere and get sunblock for your face, feet, and hair. You should use SPF 30 or higher. Most make-up and moisturizers have SPF in it and do not forget to wear sunglasses.
Reply:There is none. I have the same problem. You will most likly burn and turn pink. Go to a drug store and get some self tanner. It works really good if you use it right.
Reply:i'm the same way and i pretty much just can't tan in the sun. it sucks, i just burn....if you're really pale remember to wear sunscreen and you have to reapply it every two hours. try some self tanner!
Reply:I am extremly pale too. The best way to get a tan is to fake it. You can go to a tanning bed and buy a mystic tan and the people working there will tell you how to do it. (don't worry... u wont have to be naked infront of anybody!) or use aveeno lotion that gives you more color day by day. just be careful and make sure u rub it in all of the way.

I use to lay out a lot and go to tanning beds, but it is just not worth the risk. I did get tanner and I don't burn as easily, but I now have to do more to get tanner. My skin as kind of become more immuned to the sun i guess? I have stopped doing this because I know a 14 year old girl who won't live to see her 15th bday because of skin cancer. She never even tried to get tan. She loved soccer. She was always playing sports outside.

My best advice, when outside were SPF 40..... nothing under 30 and always reapply.

All of the mystic tans at tanning beds have improved their tans so that they are not blotchy and orange anymore. They have improved so much even in just the past year! I do them quit a bit and have never had a problem. but if u do, just use windex and it should help it come off! i hope this helps.
Reply:I really don't think you should try to tan outside. You should try Olay Touch of sun. It moisturizes and makes you tanner, not orange!!!
Reply:u have professional beauty parlours to do that.
