Tanning!!!?

I am a natural redhead with fair skin. I would like to have tanner skin, but i dont wont to use a self tanner because you turn out orange. Is there any way i can get tan without looking fake or orange?
Tanning!!!?
DON'T try to tan.

you know, that when you tan your skin, you are actually damaging your skin!

And with your fair skin, you are at a greater chance for developing skin cancer (and I speak from personal experience).

You are beautiful without tan, please don't try to tan...skin cancer and treatment is NOT fun experience!!
Tanning!!!?
Lay out in the sun duh!
Reply:dont tan. its not good for you. otherwise, skin cancer does come in several darker shades if that would suit you
Reply:You could try exercising outside with sun block on, but that depends where you live, because most places right now aren't very sunny.
Reply:Some of the spray-on tan products work. You'll have to try several brands to see which one works for you.

Please avoid the sun and tanning salons. Your fair skin increases your chance of skin cancer.

Reply:I don' think you get orange, That's what you will think at first but you won't look orange!!!
Reply:I would say go to a tanning bed. But the thing is if you have light skin you will burn very easy. If you do go, just stay in for 10 min. My sister-n-law is light skinned and she stayed in the tanning bed for 15 min and she got very red and got heat poisioning.
Reply:Go out in the sun.

Maybe try 30 minutes the first day.

I sometimes do 4 hours of direct Sun. I and the other folks where I tan mostly already have much larger issues than skin cancer so we don't worry too much. About that or much else I think.
Reply:Go to a tanning salon,,,,,,,,,, and use a good lotion.
Reply:lay on they beach for sometime but not to long or you'll get red as the devil

and remember to put on a hot suit when u go ok sweetie
Reply:No. Unfortunately your skin type will burn very easily and peel, never achieving a tan. You could try starting at the very basic step of tanning (1 minute) and work up from there, but no guarantees. Some peoples skin just naturally resists long exposure to the sun. My advice: embrace your natural skin:)
Reply:Use the sunblock level 15, but careful with the high impact of the sun, between the 10-15hours daily. Each hour in the sun is accumulated during your life so if you get burn, then you will have more chances of skin cancer, seriously!
Reply:Yeah but tanning will probably make you look red. Some girls go way crazy with the tanning get it sprayed on ya. They know how to make it look good
Reply:i think just after school wear a bikini in ur backyard and sit and read(only if its sunny)
Reply:I'm not a redhead but I have similar problems in the tanning department and with the products out there... and i have found the solution!!! Jergen's Natural Glow lotion! It's a moisturizing lotion with just a tad of "tan" in it... takes about a week to really start to show up and it doesn't look orange. I love it! Try it!!
Reply:all self tanner eventually turn ur skin an orange tint..you can gradually tan outside or in a tanning bed..my neice is very fair skinned she had same problem so we let her tan in a tanning bed gradually building up the time and she now has a tan...it takes some time but can be done
Reply:Personally, I think fair skin and red hair's hot. It's like when you tan, your skin colour will become closer to the shade of your hair. So you'll look like of 'blended-in'. Nothing special.

However, if you remain as you are. Hawt! The stark contrast man. Lol. Just my opinion though. If you really wanna get a tan, the best way to get under the sun. Easy peasy. Haha.

Good luck.
Reply:Try going to an upscale salon and spa and getting a spray on tan. I they use a high quality product with a level1 color you will not be orange.

make sure you exfoiliate well prior to getting the tan.
Reply:well you can stay and lay out in the sun that always works. The minerals from the sun helps your skin and won't make it look orange and fake.Good luck yo!!!
Reply:There are tanners that look more natural and not orange. Try Ban de Soleil, Nivea also has a good one. I usually have what's called a farmer's tan. Just think what a t-shirt covers up and that's where I'm pale. Was trying those to see if I could even out my tan. The drug store advised me to try it on a small patch of skin first, some people had adverse reaction to chemicals they use in self tanners.
