Tanning...?

how do you keep your hands and feet from burning when in a tanning bed?
Tanning...?
i dont tan alot only before vacation and my hands and feet have never burned.
Tanning...?
Its not common to burn the soles of your foot and palms of your hands in a tanning bed. But if yours are, you can try bringing your own sunblock with you and apply just before getting in the bed.
Reply:Sun block
Reply:use sunscreen on them
Reply:Put a sunscreen on them
Reply:tanning salons sell special lotions.
Reply:Why do you think they would burn and not the rest of the body? Tanning lotion is put everywhere.
Reply:Please please please don't use a tanning bed.... the thought of you laying there like a rotisserie chicken just feels wrong. Think about it... how do you keep your hands and feet from burning while you are deliberately trying to bake yourself?

There are some decent self-tanning lotions out there now... Dove makes one and it smells good and it builds up over a week or so so you have a nice glow but no sun damage.

My mom gave me advice when I was 12 and was laying out in the sun... she said, if you must do it, sheild your face and you will remember me when you are older and your skin looks good. I have to say, I didn't listen much to what she said but I did listen to that advice and I am almost 50 and have zero wrinkles. (Thanks Mom, for being ahead of your time :)

I guess if you have to tan, please use some type of cream or lotion that blocks UVA and UVB rays and shield your eyes and your neck and your hands.... they show the first signs of age.

Good luck....
