Tanning oil without SPF HELP!?

I purchased the Hawaiin Tropic Dark Tanning Oil without any SPF by mistake. I was wondering if applying sunscreen first, then putting on the oil ontop will do any justice? (i have Hawaiin Tropic Golden Tanning Lotion with SPF, not just plain sunscreen lotion) Im afraid if i mix the 2, the tanning oil wont be as effective. Any help/suggestions? Thank you in adavnce!

i personally dont think u should use the tanning oil, i think it looks fake. (no offense) i would use juz sunscreen and dip in the water and lay out to tan because the water attracts the sun and shows more of a nicer tan. but like u were askin, i think it will be effective if u mix the two. im not sure though, try askin ur parents and see what they think.
